Introduction
We are seeking a committed Pharmacist Assistant QPB to provide pharmaceutical care services within the scope of practice and perform day-to-day dispensary administration according to Clicks’ Standard Operating Plans (SOPs). This role focuses on script administration and general dispensing duties, with a strong emphasis on patient satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities

Job Objectives:

  • Professionally interact with customers while maintaining strict confidentiality, adhering to SOPs and agreed timelines.
  • Administer scripts and perform claiming or capturing procedures accurately.
  • Ensure complete and accurate handling of all patient profiles.
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals as required.
  • Solve problems and follow up on queries efficiently.

Key Duties:

  • Interact with customers via telephone or other channels regarding medication and healthcare services.
  • Accurately capture scripts received at the Central Pharmacy centre.
  • Handle prescription queries and manage patient profiles effectively.
  • Assist with chronic authorizations.
  • Liaise with other departments to support dispensary operations.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks as required by operational needs.

Knowledge:

  • Product knowledge, including OTC medications
  • SAPC and relevant legal requirements
  • Chronic authorization processes and procedures
  • Customer service excellence
  • Ethical working practices and compliance

Skills:

  • Computer literacy (MS Office)
  • Customer service oriented and a team player
  • Integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Bilingual, with English as a requirement
  • Adaptable to assist with various departmental duties
  • Initiative to ensure patient satisfaction
  • Effective time management and ability to work under pressure
  • Positive attitude and adaptability
