This role is ideal for a dynamic individual with a strong understanding of fashion trends, merchandising, and product strategy. You will play a key role in shaping product assortments across Ladieswear, Menswear, Kidswear, Accessories, or Footwear, ensuring Truworths maintains its competitive edge in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply exceptional technical merchandising skills to develop and deliver product strategies
• Interpret fashion trends and translate them into commercially viable assortments
• Conceptualize product ranges, integrating aspects such as colour, fabric, and silhouette
• Ensure product strategies are practical and successfully implemented at retail level
• Maintain energy, innovation, and passion in all aspects of product development and buying decisions

Qualifications and Experience

• 6–8 years’ experience in retailing or clothing manufacturing as a Buyer in Ladieswear, Menswear, Kidswear, Accessories, or Footwear
• Relevant tertiary qualification
