Role Purpose
The Distribution Support Administrator (DSA) provides efficient and accurate administrative support to Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs), IFA practice staff, and consultants, ensuring seamless operations and excellent service delivery.

Requirements
Qualifications:

  • Office administration qualification or business-related degree (NQF 7).

Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in financial services (essential).
  • Insurance industry experience (preferred).
  • Experience within the MDS sales environment (advantageous).

Duties & Responsibilities

Internal Processes: Sales and Service Experience

  • Demonstrate an understanding of end-to-end processes across product lines.
  • Identify and address inefficiencies in business processes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory processes and requirements.
  • Present quotes and supporting documents professionally to uphold an advice-led approach.
  • Manage the new business process end-to-end with minimal revisions.
  • Process application forms and engage promptly with Financial Advisors/Practice staff.
  • Maintain accurate records and updates on Activity Manager.
  • Log activities, track progress, and ensure document accuracy.
  • Manage pipeline and drive submission of requirements for case issuance.
  • Provide regular updates to Business Consultants on quotes, pipeline, and sales enablement.
  • Prepare reports and insights to support consultant engagements.
  • Co-accountability for Momentum Distribution Service target achievement.
  • Support marketing initiatives and training for IFAs on digital tools (e.g., Power BI, Campaign Master).
  • Act as the primary contact for online navigation queries from IFAs/Practice Staff.
  • Document training interventions and ensure business continuity across branches.
  • Report system/process issues to enhance client experience.
  • Escalate faults and resolve service center inquiries with a proactive approach.

Client Advisor: Stakeholder Engagement

  • Maintain professional engagements with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Foster strong business relationships and provide authoritative expertise.
  • Fulfil service level agreements to manage client expectations.
  • Recommend improvements for client service and fair treatment.
  • Contribute to a culture of exceptional service and feedback.
  • Support IFAs through training and digital capability enhancements.
  • Keep consultants informed of pipeline and new business activities.

Collaboration and Self-Development

  • Build productive relationships with peers and stakeholders.
  • Participate in change initiatives and continuous innovation.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and legislative changes.
