About the Role

The Cabin Crew Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality training to cabin crew members, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations, company standards, and safety procedures while enhancing overall training effectiveness and trainee performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and effective training in both classroom and virtual environments in accordance with approved training manuals and updated materials.
  • Identify and address learning challenges, instructional gaps, and emerging training needs.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of training delivery and trainee experience.
  • Assess organisational training requirements and align programs accordingly.
  • Provide ongoing guidance, supervision, and individual feedback to support trainee development.
  • Maintain accurate training documentation and records in compliance with regulatory requirements and company procedures.
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of training materials and resources.
  • Prepare training facilities and ensure all materials and equipment are available prior to sessions.
  • Stay informed of current regulations, notices, directives, Standard Operating Procedures, and company policies.

Job Requirements

  • Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential).
  • Valid RSA Cabin Crew Licence (Essential).
  • Current SACAA Cabin Crew Instructor Designation (Essential).
  • Train-the-Trainer and Assessor certifications (Essential).
  • Diploma or training-related qualification (Advantageous).
  • Minimum of 1000 flying hours as an active Cabin Crew Member (Essential).
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook (Essential).
  • Strong knowledge of SACAA regulations and Standard Operating Procedures (Essential).
  • Understanding of educational principles, training methodologies, and facilitation techniques (Essential).
