About the Program

Sasol Careers is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician East Plant to join the team at the East Plant facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and analyze faults in electrical equipment and determine the root cause of failures.
• Repair, calibrate, and adjust electrical systems and components to meet operational and quality standards.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on electrical equipment using standard electrical testing tools.
• Perform overhauls, cleaning, repairs, adjustments, and calibration on a variety of electrical equipment.
• Ensure all electrical maintenance activities are performed safely and in compliance with company standards.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED with at least 3 years of relevant electrical experience, or
• Technical, industrial, or craft qualification with training related to electrical systems.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Proven and acceptable work history.
• Ability to meet all pre-employment screening requirements.
• Capability to safely perform essential job functions in an industrial environment.
• Physical ability to climb stairs and ladders and perform moderate to heavy lifting when required.
