Tekkie Town is seeking a confident, positive, and resilient Store Planner to join our team. This role involves managing store planning for a portfolio, ensuring stock distribution aligns with company strategy. The ideal candidate is analytical, numerically strong, self-motivated, and passionate about driving performance.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in store planning within a retail environment
• Exposure to logistics and supply chain processes
• Experience with planning systems such as Location Planning, JDA Allocation Planning, or Just Enough
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills; familiarity with Google Suite advantageous
• Understanding of retail merchandise cycles including Buying, Planning, Logistics, DC, and Stores
• Knowledge of seasonal and non-seasonal replenishments
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Effective planning, organizing, and time management abilities
• Resilient, tenacious, and able to maintain initiative under pressure
• Detail-oriented, methodical, and deadline-driven
• Flexible, positive, and able to perform under varying circumstances
• Assertive with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, accountable, and a team player with strong customer focus

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate distribution of seasonal and non-seasonal stock to optimise sales
• Deliver location plans that cluster stores at the required product level
• Analyse store performance and provide timely, accurate information to support business decisions
• Prepare new store plans to ensure correct stock levels at launch
• Assist stores in resolving stock-related queries
• Conduct regular store visits as required
• Develop and deliver seasonal and non-seasonal replenishment profiles at the required product level
