About the Program:
Are you passionate about beauty and skincare products? As a Beauty Assistant, you will engage with customers, provide expert advice, and deliver an exceptional shopping experience. You will report to the Store Manager and support the entire beauty department in driving sales and customer loyalty.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Job Purpose:
- Deliver service excellence by providing professional and knowledgeable advice on beauty and skincare products.
- Promote and manage merchandise effectively while maintaining high standards of housekeeping to enhance the customer experience and maximise sales.
Job Objectives:
- Consult with customers, answer product-related questions, and guide them in selecting products and services that meet their needs.
- Drive and maximise beauty department sales through promotion, cross-selling, and up-selling to consistently meet monthly targets.
- Monitor sales performance, evaluate products regularly, and make suggestions to improve offerings and increase sales.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of beauty products, ranges, trends, promotions, and events to provide accurate information to customers.
- Manage operational activities within the beauty department, including stock management, shrinkage control, and administrative tasks.
- Ensure visual merchandising, presentation, and promotional standards are consistently met in the beauty department.
- Provide superior customer service as a visible, approachable, and professional brand ambassador.
- Promote the Clicks clubcard and enroll new members to achieve participation targets.
- Increase profitability and brand loyalty through the promotion of private label and exclusive products.
- Support the brand’s position as the customer’s first choice health and beauty retailer by exemplifying company values.
Desired Experience & Qualification:
- Essential: Grade 12
- Desirable: Relevant beauty or skincare qualification
- Desirable: Experience in beauty, skincare, retail, FMCG, sales, or marketing environments
