Main Purpose of the Role

The Business Analyst is responsible for evaluating and improving business processes by identifying automation opportunities and delivering effective solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and Robotic Process Automation. The role supports project delivery, ensures solutions align with business objectives, and enables operational efficiency across the organization.

Tertiary Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field

Computer Literacy Level

• Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Additional Computer Skills

• Proven experience in Microsoft Power Platform development
• Hands-on experience implementing Robotic Process Automation solutions

Job-Related Requirements

• 2 to 4 years’ experience in a Business Analyst role
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical specifications
• Project management experience using Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies
• Proficiency in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
• Experience with RPA tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or similar platforms
• Knowledge of data visualization and reporting techniques
• Project management certification is an added advantage

Duties and Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to gather, clarify, and validate business requirements
• Conduct workshops and requirement-gathering sessions with business units
• Document and maintain business processes, functional specifications, and system changes
• Identify, analyze, and prioritize automation and process improvement opportunities
• Review and manage backlog items for automation initiatives
• Collaborate with developers and solution architects to ensure solution alignment
• Track, monitor, and resolve issues related to RPA bots and Power Platform applications
• Perform quality assurance testing on new solutions, enhancements, and automation scripts
• Communicate project progress, risks, and blockers to relevant stakeholders
• Prepare and present weekly project and automation status reports
• Plan, schedule, and support the delivery of new projects and system enhancements
