Job Description
Coca-Cola Beverages Africa is seeking a Strategic Distributor Specialist to join the South African Commercial team. The role is responsible for driving volume, revenue growth, and operational excellence across Strategic Distributors through effective execution of channel strategies, strong customer collaboration, and disciplined commercial management.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Achieve annual volume and revenue targets for Strategic Distributors through effective channel execution strategies

Develop and manage collaborative customer plans aligned to the Annual Business Plan to drive sustainable growth

Deliver accurate sales forecasting and demand planning through regular performance reviews with distributors

Drive operational excellence by ensuring On-Time-In-Full deliveries, optimal truck turnaround times, and efficient order management

Manage credit limits, payment adherence, and financial compliance to protect revenue and minimise risk

Execute promotions, new product listings, and brand initiatives to grow market share and category value

Ensure compliance with legal, health, safety, and quality standards, including effective stock management and FIFO practices

Lead the implementation of strategic initiatives, such as cashless solutions, to enhance distributor capability and service levels
Skills, Experience and Education
Education
-
Relevant qualification in Business Management, Logistics, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
Experience
-
4–6 years of experience in a commercial and/or logistics environment

Proven experience in sales, operations, or distributor management roles

Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
-
Experience with ERP systems in warehousing and distribution is advantageous
