Miladys Fairbridge in the Western Cape is looking for a dynamic, self-motivated, and results-driven Store Manager to lead daily store operations. The role involves driving sales, managing stock levels, overseeing staff development, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate stock receipt, unpacking, merchandising, and replenishment on the sales floor.
- Monitor and control stock levels through systematic processes to minimize losses and maintain availability.
- Oversee stockroom organization and housekeeping standards.
- Approve write-offs, breakages, recalls, and returns.
Sales Growth & Profitability
- Analyze sales and profitability reports to identify opportunities for growth and cost control.
- Monitor in-store product performance and provide feedback to the support center.
- Implement strategies to increase sales, drive brand awareness, and attract new customers.
- Participate in local events, monitor competitors, and drive new accounts/memberships where applicable.
Risk Management
- Conduct regular compliance checks, including admin, store, and visual audits, to enforce company policies and procedures.
- Monitor health and safety regulations, security measures, and stock control processes.
Customer Experience Management
- Implement and maintain customer experience initiatives such as promotions, markdowns, repricing, and visual standards.
- Ensure excellent customer service through effective feedback management and store presentation.
Leadership & Development
- Lead and motivate the store team to achieve KPIs and business objectives.
- Identify training and coaching opportunities to develop staff and ensure succession planning.
- Manage recruitment, performance reviews, and adherence to company policies.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
- Minimum of three years of experience in a store management role.
- Strong understanding of sales and service management.
- Proficiency in computer literacy and business communication.
- Knowledge of retail operations, customer engagement, and brand management.
