Job Objectives

• Accurately and efficiently perform all point-of-sale operations in line with company procedures.

• Scan merchandise and process payments with a high level of accuracy, including the application of clubcard rewards.

• Handle cash responsibly and ensure all cash control procedures are strictly followed.

• Actively promote the Clicks clubcard and enroll new members to achieve participation targets.

• Inform customers of current promotions to drive sales and enhance value for money.

• Deliver exceptional customer service by acting as a brand ambassador through a friendly, professional and visible presence.

• Maintain merchandising standards and ensure general housekeeping duties are consistently executed.

• Live and promote the company values in support of the Group’s vision to be the customer’s first choice health and beauty retailer.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, ranges, promotions and in-store events to provide accurate information to customers.

Knowledge

• Basic mathematical calculations.

• Retail or FMCG experience with an understanding of merchandising and promotional principles.

• Understanding of stock management processes.
