Role Purpose
As a Service Consultant, you will engage with clients efficiently to resolve queries effectively, adhering to service level agreements and legislative requirements.
Requirements
- Essential: Matric or equivalent
- Desirable: Business-related qualification
- Experience: 2–3 years in a call centre or client service environment
- Preferred: Exposure to the medical scheme industry
- Essential: Proficiency in English and one other official South African language
- Skills: Experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel)
Duties & Responsibilities
Internal Process
- Engage professionally with clients/intermediaries to resolve queries within SLA and quality standards.
- Own and resolve complaints timeously and effectively.
- Provide accurate client information and documentation per policy guidelines.
- Capture and update client data on relevant systems.
- Complete administrative/reporting tasks within deadlines.
- Adhere to legislative/compliance service requirements.
- Report system/process improvements to enhance client experience.
Client
- Investigate queries within SLAs and provide timely feedback.
- Escalate queries to relevant stakeholders where necessary.
- Offer accurate advice to clients and stakeholders for optimal service delivery.
- Deliver regular reports on service performance against SLAs.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Recommend improvements for client service and fair treatment.
- Foster a feedback-driven culture for exceptional client service.

- Cultivate collaborative relationships with peers and stakeholders.
