Job Description
The Senior Software Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain software applications. You will take ownership of code quality, deployments, non-functional aspects, and system improvements while fostering a culture of learning and technical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to solve complex technical problems within your area of expertise
- Write well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code consistently
- Proactively optimize and enhance existing code to improve system performance
- Manage and execute deployments with precision and care
- Mentor less experienced developers, providing guidance and constructive feedback
- Develop and maintain robust Disaster Recovery procedures to ensure system resilience
- Work confidently with cross-functional teams including Design, Legal, Data, and Risk
- Escalate and resolve issues beyond the scope of individual or team work when necessary
- Demonstrate expertise in accessibility, performance, and security, advocating best practices
- Improve system observability by identifying gaps in alerts and runbooks
- Consistently deliver high-quality work while managing challenges and blockers effectively
Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- 8–10 years’ experience in software development
Technical Skills
- PHP
- Laravel
- JavaScript
- Experience with RESTful web services
- Experience with microservices architecture and design
- Experience with Relational DBMS
