The P45 Sales Assistant is responsible for providing excellent customer service and supporting the daily operations of the store. This role focuses on achieving sales targets, maintaining effective merchandise presentation, assisting customers, and ensuring smooth store administration, including stock management, markdowns, and lay-bys.
Qualifications
- Matric (Grade 12)
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Previous retail sales experience
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Good planning and organizational skills for daily tasks
- Basic computer literacy
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective communication skills with customers and colleagues
- Ability to work under pressure
- High level of integrity and initiative
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
- Protect company assets including stock, cash, physical assets, staff, and customers
- Implement company policies and procedures effectively
- Maintain store and department layout standards
- Deliver excellent customer service and assist customers with their needs
- Follow correct administration procedures related to stockroom, markdowns, and lay-bys
- Ensure merchandise is replenished efficiently and maintain high housekeeping standards throughout the store
