National Field Sales Manager – Red Bull
Job Summary
As the National Field Sales Manager at Red Bull, you will lead and manage a dynamic national field sales team across Retail, Gas, and Kiosk/Independent channels. Your role includes coaching, implementing perfect store standards, and overseeing a third-party execution partner. You will drive strategy, training, scorecarding, and performance-based incentives while ensuring seamless collaboration between internal and external teams on a national, monthly, and weekly basis.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead a High-Performance Field Sales Team
- Optimize call cycle management to maximize impact in every store visit.
- Conduct in-store audits and oversee reporting to maintain high standards.
- Equip field teams with tools and insights for success.
- Provide one-on-one coaching and route rides to enhance performance.
- Foster a positive, engaging team culture that encourages creativity and collaboration.
2. Third-Party Agency Management
- Develop and execute a national retail execution plan with external partners.
- Define and track KPIs to enhance Red Bull’s in-store presence.
- Implement ongoing training and performance-driven incentive programs.
- Build a strong, results-focused partnership with third-party agencies.
3. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Strengthen internal relationships with Key Accounts, Trade Marketing, and other business units.
- Collaborate closely with regional and global teams to align strategies.
- Establish weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance routines.
4. Budget Oversight
- Manage allocated budgets effectively in partnership with Finance.
- Ensure optimal ROI on field sales and third-party investments.
5. Sales Strategy & Growth
- Continuously refine the field sales structure to support business growth.
- Adapt strategies based on market trends and competitive insights.
Qualifications & Experience
Education & Licensing
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Valid driver’s license.
Experience
- 5+ years in FMCG sales, with a proven track record in leading sales teams.
- Experience managing third-party retail execution agencies (advantageous).
- Strong understanding of retail channels, competitor dynamics, and consumer behavior.
Skills & Competencies
- Leadership and team motivation expertise.
- Excellent analytical and commercial acumen (financial reporting, market trends).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Field Force automation tools.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel 50-60% of the time.
