About the Role:
The Major Module Specialist is responsible for managing, monitoring, and coordinating all activities related to major aircraft modules, including engines and airframe components. This role ensures compliance with contractual obligations, airworthiness requirements, and technical standards while supporting operational efficiency and lease management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review records of major modules during induction and redelivery.
- Plan and coordinate movements of major modules across the fleet.
- Ensure compliance with lease contracts, airworthiness requirements, and operational limitations.
- Maintain accurate administrative data and documentation throughout the lease period.
- Monitor lease terms, warranties, and credits to mitigate risks during redelivery.
- Coordinate and monitor shop visits for major modules, ensuring technical and quality compliance.
- Provide timely and accurate reporting to Lessors and internal stakeholders.
- Support Operations and Management with compliance and contractual interpretation.
- Educate internal departments on lease compliance and maintenance requirements.
- Provide expert guidance on maintenance agreements and lease administration.
- Assist with contract assessments, negotiations, and forecasting to support contract management.
- Maintain proactive communication with stakeholders regarding policy changes or technical updates.
- Foster positive relationships with Lessors, suppliers, and internal teams to achieve organisational goals.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Qualification in a relevant aviation technical field.
- 5–8 years’ experience in Technical Contract Administration or a related technical role.
- Experience with CAMO Maintenance Systems (advantageous).
- Knowledge of aircraft records, aviation regulations, quality standards, and aircraft/engine lease contracts.
- Aviation industry experience (advantageous).
- Willingness to work additional hours and travel as required.
- Strong understanding of aircraft systems and lease economic structures.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiar with CAMO control systems.
