Job Description
Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) is seeking a results-driven Key Account Manager Pick n Pay to join the Key Accounts team. Reporting to the Customer Manager, this role focuses on driving revenue growth, margin improvement, and long-term strategic partnerships with Pick n Pay accounts.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Revenue and Margin Growth

  • Achieve and exceed targets for revenue and margin growth through tactical account management and category optimization.

Customer Satisfaction and Growth

  • Strengthen relationships with key accounts to improve customer satisfaction and drive mutual business growth.

Campaign Implementation

  • Ensure successful execution of promotional campaigns to increase market share and deliver KPIs for national and regional accounts.

Stakeholder Alignment

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align on customer plans and ensure seamless execution.

New Product Launches

  • Secure listings and drive sales for new product launches within key Pick n Pay accounts.

Financial Management

  • Maintain financial health of accounts by collaborating with Finance to resolve pricing claims and other financial matters.

Corporate Governance

  • Ensure compliance with Coca-Cola system standards and promote strong governance practices.

Skills, Experience & Education

Experience

  • 6–8 years of sales management experience within FMCG.
  • Proven track record managing key accounts with focus on revenue and margin growth.
  • Experience negotiating trading terms and managing high-level customer relationships.
  • Knowledge of customer business models, market trends, and competitor activity.
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration with operations, finance, and supply chain teams.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles to drive account growth.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships and ensure mutual business success.
  • Skilled in negotiation, conflict resolution, and maintaining positive relationships.
  • Strategic thinking with ability to anticipate trends and plan competitive account strategies.
  • Financial acumen, including pricing strategy and ROI management for account profitability.
  • Knowledge of business policies, market dynamics, and competitor activity.
  • Results-oriented, with strong execution skills for campaigns and business plans.
  • Proficient in digital platforms and systems for account management and performance tracking.
