Job Description

FlySafair is seeking motivated Industrial Engineer Graduates to support business improvement initiatives and gain hands-on experience within a dynamic aviation environment. The role provides exposure to process optimisation, project support, and operational analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with documenting, analysing, and improving business processes across the organisation.

• Participate in projects and process improvement initiatives, executing assigned tasks to support successful delivery.

• Conduct current-state (as-is) analysis and contribute to future-state (to-be) process design.

• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and training material to support project implementations.

• Support problem-solving activities related to assigned initiatives.

• Learn and apply process mapping techniques using BPMN 2.0 notation for both simple and complex processes.

• Update and maintain project documentation on record management platforms.

• Track assigned project activities on the central project management system, updating tasks, progress, and risks.

• Engage with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements for smaller initiatives.

• Communicate progress and updates to relevant stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.

• Gain exposure to relevant software systems and analytical tools to build technical competence.

Job Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential).

• B.Eng. in Industrial Engineering (Essential).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to engage across teams.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Learning-orientated with a strong willingness to develop new skills.
