Job Summary
Network Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled IFRS Reporting Specialist with expertise in Life Insurance or Asset Management to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and process improvements in alignment with IFRS standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply IFRS 7 and IFRS 10 to investment and fund structures.
- Perform fund consolidations and ensure proper classification and disclosures.
- Analyze, validate, and enhance large volumes of financial instrument data.
- Provide meaningful insights and reporting outputs to internal stakeholders.
- Ensure timely and accurate regulatory submissions, including FSCA reporting.
- Innovate and optimize processes and systems for investment reporting.
- Offer technical expertise on financial instruments (bonds, equities, derivatives, etc.).
Who We’re Looking For:
- Qualified CA(SA) or Non-CA with strong IFRS technical expertise.
- 5+ years of financial reporting experience in Life Insurance or Asset Management.
- Proven knowledge of IFRS 7 & IFRS 10, particularly investment assets and fund consolidations.
- Solid understanding of financial instruments, both simple and complex.
- Proactive approach with a focus on improving reporting quality and efficiency.
- Experience working with large data sets and cross-functional teams.
