Overview
The Contracts Manager is responsible for serving as the central point of contact for all security-related matters within the CID, ensuring the effective day-to-day management of a comprehensive and integrated security solution.

Key Responsibilities
-
Manage and lead operational security staff, including on-the-road training, shift planning, overtime control, and expense management
-
Oversee vehicles and equipment, including inspections, maintenance, accident management, tracking, stock control, and service scheduling
-
Manage vehicle-related administration such as fines, servicing, and compliance checks
-
Attend internal and external meetings as required
-
Compile and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports in line with CID requirements
-
Monitor construction sites and conduct street light audits and other CID-related security activities
-
Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal departments and external stakeholders including SAPS, Law Enforcement, and community forums
-
Identify crime patterns and trends, planning and coordinating targeted security operations
-
Conduct joint operations with SAPS and Law Enforcement in support of CID objectives
-
Respond to crime incidents and manage complaints effectively
-
Support the management and reporting functions of the Monitoring Centre hub for the CID
-
Facilitate communication and reporting between CID members and Fidelity ADT management
