Reports To: General Manager – Regional Operations Lagos
Division: Sales and Distribution

Mission
The Analyst will demonstrate strong expertise in business analysis, performance reporting, project coordination, planning, and gap analysis to drive regional sales excellence. This role is responsible for mining and managing data to generate actionable insights, supporting informed decision-making, and optimizing overall regional performance. The Analyst will also coordinate regional sales activities, working closely with the Regional General Manager and Head Office business support teams to ensure timely delivery of inputs and results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop accurate regional sales forecasts based on subscription growth, churn trends, and Average Revenue Per User (ARPU).
  • Monitor sales performance against revenue targets, identifying performance gaps and growth opportunities.
  • Analyze site profitability through customer segmentation and ARPU performance reviews.
  • Evaluate cost structures associated with sales campaigns and customer acquisition initiatives.
  • Track and monitor GC to MoMo wallet conversion ratios and recommend performance improvement actions.
  • Analyze variances in regional sales incentive schemes and propose corrective measures.
  • Assess device performance productivity against targets for trade partners and Customer Care Representatives within the retail space.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional regional teams to execute shared goals and deploy strategic initiatives.
  • Design and maintain dynamic dashboards to monitor key sales metrics including gross additions, churn, ARPU, and revenue trends.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for underperforming teams or sales areas and recommend sustainable solutions.
  • Track Regional Directors’ performance across defined KPIs.
  • Generate, collect, analyze, and interpret revenue data to produce daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports and dashboards for business reviews.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction indicators such as NPS and CSAT, proposing initiatives to address identified pain points.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of regional promotional campaigns in driving subscriber acquisition and revenue growth.

Education Requirements

  • First degree in Economics, Business Administration, Actuarial Science, or a related discipline.
  • Strong data analytics capability is required.
  • Good written and spoken English.

Experience and Competencies

  • 3–7 years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Management, or Process Management.
  • Experience working within a medium-sized organization.
  • Background in reporting, sales, marketing, or related functions.
  • Proficiency in data mining tools and analytics platforms.
  • Telecommunications industry experience is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret complex data sets and present insights clearly to stakeholders.
