Finance and Insurance Manager – Motus

Purpose
As a Finance and Insurance Manager at Motus, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our dealership network by delivering efficient service to customers. Your expertise in vehicle finance and approved product sales will drive gross profit growth while upholding the Financial Service Board’s (FSB) requirements for training, fit & proper standards, honesty, and integrity.

Specific Role Responsibilities

  • Achieve agreed performance targets aligned with budget and high-volume dealership sales goals.
  • Maximize second gross profit through strategic financial and insurance product sales.
  • Ensure compliance with governance, legislation, and dealership policies.
  • Maintain accurate transactional records and reports for informed decision-making.
  • Conduct financial needs analyses and recommend value-added finance and insurance solutions.
  • Manage the finance and insurance debtor’s book, including related administration tasks.
  • Provide specialized financial and insurance advice to clients.
  • Support dealership growth and profitability through operational excellence in finance and insurance initiatives.
  • Educate customers on products to enhance retention and expand the customer base.
  • Continuously develop industry knowledge and expertise.
  • Demonstrate strong customer service and sales management skills.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the NCA, CRA, FAIS, and FICA regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Experience

  • 3+ years in a similar customer-focused role within the Automotive Retail or Banking industry.

Minimum Qualification

  • Grade 12/Matric with a relevant diploma (Credit Management Diploma preferred).
  • Regulatory Exam, NC Accreditation, and a Retail/Short-Term Insurance Qualification (minimum 120 credits).

Skills and Personal Attributes

  • In-depth knowledge of vehicle legislation, dealership policies, and industry best practices.
  • Strong customer service and sales management abilities.
  • Familiarity with retail industry compliance regulations.
  • Accreditation by the FSP with an NCA s13 mandate.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Commitment to Continuous Professional Development (CPD) requirements.
