Job Description

Overview of the Role

The Site Manager is responsible for overseeing site operations to ensure efficient, professional, and compliant service delivery. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role focuses on managing teams, maintaining high performance standards, and continuously adding value to the organisation while achieving business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily site operations to ensure efficiency and professionalism
  • Maintain strong client relationships through effective liaison and communication
  • Oversee and manage staff performance to ensure operational standards are consistently met
  • Monitor and manage staff turnover and workforce stability
  • Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and company policies
  • Handle site administration and reporting requirements accurately
  • Supervise and lead security personnel to achieve required performance levels
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all operational aspects related to the role
  • Execute all reasonable instructions from management to support business objectives

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Standard 10 or equivalent qualification
  • PSIRA Grade A registration
  • AVSEC Level 3 (Cargo) certification
  • DGR – Group A certification
  • CAT6 certification
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the security industry
  • Previous supervisory or junior management experience

Additional Requirements

  • Computer literacy, including MS Office, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills advantageous
  • Valid driver’s licence (Code 08/EB) with reliable transport
  • Sound knowledge of disciplinary procedures
  • Clean disciplinary record
