Job Description
Standard Bank Careers is seeking a detail-oriented Analyst, Credit Support, Premium to support the Manager, Relationship Premium in the daily management and execution of a credit portfolio. The role involves assisting with credit-related activities, ensuring efficient portfolio administration, and contributing to the effective delivery of financial solutions to premium banking clients.
The Analyst, Credit Support, Premium will be responsible for conducting financial and credit analysis, monitoring credit performance, and supporting relationship managers with credit assessments and documentation. The position also requires maintaining compliance with banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while contributing to strong client service and portfolio growth.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification
• First Degree in Business Commerce or a related field
• FAIS Representative certification
Experience
• 5–7 years of experience in a similar credit-related role with proven capability in financial and credit analysis
• Demonstrated experience working with a personal delegated authority
• Business development experience will be advantageous
• Relevant FAIS qualification and industry experience
• Candidates without FAIS experience will be required to operate under supervision
• Previous experience within a Business and Commercial Banking environment with a strong understanding of banking products, processes, and policies
