About the Program

Introduction
Clicks Group Careers is seeking a dedicated Nursing Practitioner to join the Unicare Clinic team. This role involves managing a commercially viable clinic within the 24hr Pharmacy in Bellville, Cape Town, delivering professional, value-added clinic services in line with SANC regulations, company policies, and procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities
Job Objectives:

• Build and maintain a loyal client base by effectively promoting clinic services and delivering high standards of patient care and customer service.
• Provide a wide range of clinic services including lifestyle management screening tests, ‘well baby’ clinics, immunisations, baby health monitoring, reproductive health services, adult immunisations, primary health care (minor ailments and wound care), and Phlebotomy services.
• Counsel and advise patients on health, wellness, and weight management, and refer to Pharmacists or other health professionals when necessary.
• Ensure patient information is accurately maintained, confidential, and secured electronically, while guaranteeing payment for services rendered.
• Oversee clinic operations, including administrative tasks, booking locums, and reporting on financial and stock management.
• Manage clinic stock efficiently, prevent loss and shrinkage, monitor cold chain compliance, and maintain safety standards for medical supplies.
• Build professional health networks to enhance clinic services and commercial growth.
• Plan and execute Health Days and ad hoc projects to improve service offerings.
• Respond to adverse events and emergencies professionally and effectively.

Desired Experience & Qualifications
Experience:

• Essential: Minimum 3 years’ practical experience across nursing disciplines, ideally in Community Health, Primary Health, and Midwifery
• Desirable: Experience with Unisolv and Allegra systems

Education:

• Essential: Registered Nursing Practitioner with SANC
• Essential: 3-year Diploma in Nursing or 4-year Nursing Degree
