About the Role:
Fidelity Vacancies is inviting applications for B Ed Lecturers (full-time and part-time) to teach the Bachelor of Education in Foundation Phase from 2028. Lecturers will develop and deliver modules, create learning content and assessments, and supervise work-integrated learning. Applicants must have a minimum NQF Level 8 qualification in Education, with a focus on the Foundation Phase, or relevant experience in Foundation Phase teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Development

• Develop and deliver standard B Ed modules, including languages (English, Afrikaans, isiZulu), mathematics, and robotics for the Foundation Phase
• Prepare assessments aligned to curriculum standards

Teaching & Assessment

• Conduct lectures in-person and online
• Supervise teaching practice and assess student performance
• Provide guidance, support, and feedback to students

Administration & Student Support

• Administer student learning experiences and maintain accurate records
• Gather and act on student feedback
• Support students academically and administratively

Essential Skills & Competencies:

• Minimum two years’ experience teaching in the Foundation Phase preferred
• At least two years’ lecturing experience in a similar B Ed programme advantageous
• Proficient in in-person and online teaching methods
• High computer literacy and familiarity with curriculum requirements
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organisational skills

Required Qualifications:

• NQF 8 Education qualification relevant to Foundation Phase teaching
• Proficiency in at least two of the following: English, Afrikaans, isiZulu

Reporting Structure:

• Reports to Programme Manager and Campus Principal

Contract Type:

• Full-time or part-time
