Mission
The Senior Manager will lead the Financial Systems and Control function, overseeing system deployments, implementation, integration, configurations, and governance to ensure optimal performance of financial platforms. This role ensures that all financial systems continuously meet the technical and business needs of users while aligning with organizational and group standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the integration of financial systems, including Oracle Cloud ERP, with acquired entities, ensuring seamless transition from legacy systems to new platforms.
• Oversee implementation of new financial systems and ensure effective integration across multiple platforms.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance during system integration initiatives to ensure compliance and performance excellence.
• Manage ERP support operations to ensure effective data planning, system optimization, and user satisfaction.
• Analyze, design, implement, and maintain robust financial data controls and system governance frameworks.
• Evaluate and recommend innovative tools, technologies, and methods to enhance system functionality and performance, staying updated on emerging IT trends.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, MTN Group directives, and industry best practices in financial systems management.
• Represent the Cloud Operations team in IT technical review forums and Change Control Board sessions, presenting quarterly releases, security updates, and platform enhancements to relevant stakeholders.
• Lead impact assessments of Oracle quarterly functional releases on local ERP configurations and third-party integrations in collaboration with IT support teams.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Sales & Distribution, Network Group, Information Systems, and Customer Operations to optimize ERP usage.
• Ensure all finance-related systems align with MTN Group standards and GAAP requirements.
• Partner with Information Systems teams to manage upgrades, database administration, licensing, patch management, and core system issue resolution.
• Drive effective adoption and utilization of Oracle Cloud ERP across the organization.

Education Requirements

• First degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Professional accounting certification such as ACCA, ACA, or CIMA.
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification is required.
• Fluent in English.

Experience and Competencies

• 9–17 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in a specialized leadership role with team management responsibilities.
• Experience within medium to large organizations.
• Strong background in business and systems analysis.
• Extensive hands-on experience in ERP implementation and financial systems management.
• Proven expertise in systems integration, project management, and people management.
• Strong analytical, governance, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex system transformation initiatives and influence cross-functional teams.
