WeBuyCars is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior HR Practitioner to join our Head Office team. Responsibilities
Recruitment and Selection
- Coordinate and participate in recruitment processes, ensuring fairness and efficiency.
- Conduct interviews, evaluate candidate suitability, and provide hiring recommendations.
Employee Relations
- Foster positive workplace relationships by offering HR guidance to employees and managers.
- Manage grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution with fairness.
- Ensure company policies and employment laws are consistently applied.
Performance Management
- Support performance management initiatives, including appraisals and development programs.
- Advise managers and employees on performance-related matters.
- Assist in implementing and tracking performance improvement plans.
Benefits Administration
- Oversee employee benefits programs (healthcare, retirement, leave).
- Maintain accurate HR records and documentation.
Compliance and Legal
- Stay updated on labour laws and HR best practices.
- Ensure adherence to employment regulations and company policies.
Requirements
Education and Experience
77Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience as an HR Practitioner or HR Generalist.
- Strong understanding of HR policies and employment equity.
Skills and Competencies
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Relationship-building skills with employees at all levels.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving expertise.
- Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems.
- Highly organized with a focus on accuracy.
