What will you do?
- Grow Sanlam Retail Mass’s customer base and revenue by developing and executing the retail branch strategy.
- Guide, integrate, and standardize the activities of Sales Consultants in alignment with strategic goals.
- Foster a service-oriented culture to enhance client experience within and beyond the branch.
- Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring smooth management and compliance.
- Manage retail branch strategy, business planning, and sales delivery.
- Ensure adherence to compliance, quality, and risk management standards.
- Handle operational people practices, including talent management, performance reviews, and capacity planning.
- Report monthly on sales and service activities.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders (Area Managers, Business Owners, community forums, etc.).
Education & Experience
- Matric (Grade 12).
- RE1 and RE5 certifications.
- 120 Wealth Management credits or a tertiary qualification recognized by the FSCA.
- Annual Class of Business accreditation.
- Compliant with CPD (current and past cycles).
- 5 years of industry experience, with at least 3 years in leadership.
- Service Management experience.
- Insurance sales and credit/lending experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies
- Sales strategies and stakeholder engagement.
- Customer service excellence and regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with Sanlam products (advantageous).
- People management and business acumen.
- Proficiency in data analytics, project management, and MS Office.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
