Parts Sales Executive – Motus Ford Paarden Eiland
Motus Ford Paarden Eiland is seeking a driven and results-oriented Parts Sales Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding our customer base, and ensuring exceptional service delivery within the motor retail sector.
Position Overview
Reporting to the Parts Manager, the Parts Sales Executive will drive sales growth by engaging distributors, fleet owners, trade outlets, and shops while selling Ford parts and accessories. Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed parts sales targets by managing and growing a customer portfolio.
- Increase market share within the designated sales area.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Adhere to company discount policies and sales procedures.
- Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
- Execute part exchange, replacement, and reconditioned item schemes as per company policy.
- Conduct regular customer visits and maintain an organized outreach schedule.
- Identify and communicate market opportunities to management.
- Resolve customer queries and escalate issues when necessary.
- Promote new policies, promotions, and product updates to customers.
- Ensure proper documentation for returned parts.
- Collaborate closely with the Parts Manager and dealership staff.
- Attend required meetings and training sessions.
- Foster teamwork to support dealership success.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven motor industry experience in parts sales or telesales (essential).
- Sales and customer relationship management experience (preferred).
- Brand-specific experience is advantageous.
- Matric/NQF Level 4 qualification.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel); knowledge of Automate is a plus.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Customer-focused with strong product knowledge.
- Ability to track prospects and update customer databases efficiently.
