Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Workplace Trainer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for training and mentoring fishworkers across various processing areas, conducting competency assessments, and ensuring adherence to production and safety standards. The Workplace Trainer will play a crucial role in enhancing performance, maintaining records, and fostering effective communication within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Train and mentor fishworkers at all relevant working stations within the processing areas.
• Conduct individual competency assessments to ensure skills and knowledge meet production standards.
• Maintain accurate records of all training activities and progress.
• Observe fishworkers to ensure compliance with production standards and consistency in performance.
• Facilitate and assess learning interventions as required.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety policies and procedures, using completed checklists.
• Maintain effective communication and build strong relationships with team members.

Qualifications:

• Relevant experience in training or mentoring roles.
• Strong knowledge of fish processing operations and safety standards.
