Job Description
Food Lovers Market is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our team and enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will be responsible for improving the division’s outputs through effective management and strategic planning.

What You’ll Do

  • Liaise daily with the management team to establish workflow deadlines and completions.
  • Attend weekly meetings with management to plan the following week’s outputs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized dispatch area at all times.
  • Develop systems to manage the arrival of collections vehicles and loading time slots.
  • Implement and oversee pre-planning systems for upcoming collections and deliveries.
  • Ensure the Crating & Boxing sections are prepared in advance of collections, and allocate space for ready-to-dispatch goods.
  • Ensure all collections and deliveries are signed for on a delivery note.
  • Ensure the work environment complies with safety policies and requirements.
  • Report incidents within 24 hours.
  • Train personnel on safety requirements and procedures.
  • Perform daily checks on forklifts and ensure the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Discipline employees according to company procedures.
  • Identify training needs, and develop and implement a training plan.

Preferences

  • Experience in warehouse management is preferred.
