Tiger Brands Vacancies – Warehouse Controller

Tiger Brands is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Controller to oversee the day-to-day operations of our finished goods warehouse. This role requires strong leadership, stock management expertise, and a commitment to maintaining high safety and operational standards.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure strict adherence to cycle counting procedures.
• Minimize product damage and waste write-offs.
• Manage and control the forklift fleet.
• Oversee stock handling to reduce risks such as spoilage and damage.
• Maintain high safety standards within the warehouse.
• Enforce discipline and compliance within the team.
• Promote small group activities to improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with British Retail Consortium (BRC) warehouse standards.

Key Performance Areas:

• Effective stock stacking and loading procedures.
• Maintaining warehouse housekeeping standards.
• Managing pallet accounts.
• Developing staff and reducing waste.

Requirements:

• Matric certificate with a relevant tertiary qualification in stock control or warehousing (or studying towards TMA qualification).
• 2–3 years of experience in a warehousing and distribution environment.
• Strong computer literacy.
• Experience in stock management and product identification.
