Sasol careers – Training Coordinator

Purpose of the Role

Training Coordinator will provide administrative and coordination support to the Learning and Development team. This includes managing learning systems, scheduling courses, maintaining records, coordinating training events, and supporting external training providers. The role requires strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, along with a good understanding of Learning and Development principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and maintain course bookings and registrations with accuracy.
  • Coordinate training attendance and manage dual Learning Management Systems.
  • Maintain and quality-assure information on Learning Management Systems and attendance registers.
  • Support the team in managing training facilities and equipment, with a focus on cost efficiency.
  • Perform record-keeping, archiving, and reporting to document learning activities effectively.
  • Implement quality filing systems (manual and electronic) in compliance with statutory and Sasol requirements, including issuing certificates.
  • Prepare and analyze Learning and Development reports and system-generated statistics.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative and Sasol procedural requirements in all learning activities.

Qualifications

  • National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) with English.
  • Completion of Training Administration courses is advantageous.

Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years in a relevant administrative or training role.

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Learning Management Systems, HR digital integration, and administration.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to optimize work processes and maintain accurate records.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Effective communication and stakeholder engagement.

  • Technology Proficiency: Tech-savvy and familiar with digital tools in HR and Learning Development.
