Food Lovers Market is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Trainee Managers. This role is ideal for those interested in the retail industry and looking to advance their careers through hands-on experience. As a Trainee Manager, you will gain valuable exposure to various divisions within our retail environment, preparing you for future leadership positions.

What You’ll Do

• Count the float daily and assist with cash-up procedures.
• Operate the till when needed and handle transactions.
• Assist with sales of products specific to campaigns and take customer orders.
• Pack away stock, clean the store and equipment, and ensure fridges are stocked.
• Follow management instructions and ensure all equipment is in good working condition.
• Prepare and clean food, assist with morning preparations, and help prepare meals as needed.
• Occasionally handle and prepare orders.

Preferences

• Experience in merchandising and stocktaking is a plus.
• Previous experience in Bakery, nutbar, or kitchen environments is desirable.
• Experience in cutting and sorting goods/food is beneficial.
• Experience in a team leader, supervisor, or managerial role is preferred.
