Fidelity Vacancies – Technical Manager-Winelands

Fidelity is seeking an experienced Technical Manager – Winelands to oversee service operations, manage client queries, and lead a team of service technicians. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality technical service delivery while maintaining operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a management role.
  • Strong customer service background.
  • Proven experience in people management.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office, Listener, Outlook, and Internet applications.
  • PSIRA Registration (Grade B).
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Familiarity with SAIDSA requirements is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage service callouts efficiently.
  • Handle client queries related to technical issues and account matters.
  • Achieve Field Force Transformation (FFT) targets.
  • Ensure effective stock control and conduct vehicle inspections.
  • Oversee health and safety compliance, including injury reporting and SHE inspections.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and safety meetings with installation staff.
  • Identify training and development needs and provide coaching to staff.
  • Manage recruitment and HR-related matters for technical team members.
  • Monitor staff well-being and ensure high levels of motivation.
  • Compile and submit key reports, including service targets, fuel consumption, SMS tests, and compliance checks.
  • Oversee installer activities, drive sheet monitoring, and internal communications.

Performance Standards:

  • Ensure weekly service targets are consistently met.
  • Deliver first-time resolution to client queries and ensure accurate service payments.
  • Maintain stock loss below 1%.
  • Report all incidents to HR within 24 hours.
  • Conduct and document monthly inspections, SHE meetings, and toolbox talks.
  • Ensure effective training and staff performance monitoring.
  • Submit AODs and payroll documents before the monthly deadline.
  • Provide timely responses to Listener notes and internal emails.
  • Maintain accurate tracking of installer activities.
  • Ensure timely completion and submission of all required reports.
