Fidelity Vacanciesch – Technical Administrator-Deep South
Fidelity is looking for a Technical Administrator – Deep South to ensure the efficient handling of all administrative duties related to the technical department. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literacy in MS Office
- Experience with Listener is advantageous
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect quotes for allocated areas and verify their presence on Listener
- Assign quotes to technicians and prioritize calls to optimize travel time
- Schedule jobs efficiently based on capacity and geographic location for servicing and installations
- Contact clients to schedule and confirm appointments, including telephone technical bookings and control room booking sheets
- Assist the sales team in booking technicians
- Manage aged jobs and provide pipeline figures for installations
- Assist in sending job cards to JHB and generate BNS and insurance reports
- Schedule installations and ensure all required documents from OTC are submitted for technician allocation
- Follow up on key lists such as Top 20, Low Battery, and Active lists
- Resolve scheduling queries immediately and escalate any issues as needed
- Assist technicians with radio loading and provide technical assistance to clients
- Support EHS functions as required
- Track and follow up on all jobs to ensure completion
- Assist in department efficiency by covering for absent team members when necessary
- Order, issue, and control stock, including warehouse responsibilities and stock-taking assistance
- Help with technical invoicing and distribution of service and installation stock to technicians
- Perform any ad hoc tasks as required by management
