Job Description
Manage the allocation and quality of work within your area of responsibility in Lend Fulfilment – FNB COPE (Capabilities, Operations, Projects, Enablement).

Responsibilities / Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Customer Service Excellence: Deliver exceptional internal and external service by adhering to quality standards, Turnaround Times (TAT), and Service Level Agreements (SLA). Oversee Legal Fulfilment, Collateral Fulfilment, Bond Fulfilment, Records Management, and Insurance Administration. Monitor attorney performance via the Attorney Scorecard and report on bond allocations.
  • Stakeholder Priority Management: Assess and prioritize valid urgent stakeholder requests, managing expectations effectively.
  • Operational Risk Management: Mitigate risks in your area by addressing audit findings, reporting irregularities, SLA deviations, drafting errors, and return-to-sales issues. Implement projects to reduce operational/credit risk.
  • Team Quality & Output: Ensure high-quality team output through data quality checks, remediation projects, records management clean-ups, and collateral oversight. Drive efficiency, automation, and best practices.
  • Business Process & Reporting: Compile and manage daily, weekly, and monthly reports, including Manco, Outstanding Collateral, and Data Quality reports. Ensure adherence to formal processes and policies.
  • Capacity Management: Track and optimize team productivity, overseeing leave planning, duty rosters, workload distribution, and QA capacity.
  • Staff Development & Management: Manage performance moderation, disciplinary actions, recognition, and talent development. Oversee staff scorecards, compliance training, and key person dependency plans.

You’ll Be an Ideal Candidate If You Have

  • A 3-year bachelor’s degree (B.Com, LLB, business management, or equivalent NQF 7 qualification).
  • Minimum 6 years of banking experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint.
  • Professional communication skills in English (written and verbal).
  • Familiarity with FNB’s AI tools like Co-Pilot and GPT@Work.
