Job Description:

Tiger Brands is seeking a proactive and strategic Talent Acquisition Specialist (Corporate Functions) to enhance our recruitment efforts. In this role, you will collaborate closely with People Business Partners and other key stakeholders to manage and deliver a specialist talent acquisition service for professional, management, and critical roles within Corporate, Group Functions, and CSL. You will be instrumental in ensuring an efficient and effective talent acquisition process, utilizing our Employer Brand to attract top talent and design targeted recruitment campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnership: Serve as a key Talent Acquisition partner, managing daily operations for assigned business areas and ensuring seamless recruitment processes.
  • Employer Branding: Use the Employer Brand to develop and execute targeted acquisition campaigns, building and maintaining relationships with channel providers.
  • Proactive Talent Management: Implement the Strategic Workforce Plan to proactively source, retain, and develop talent for senior leadership, professional, and critical roles.
  • Talent Pool Development: Map external talent and create pools for leadership and critical roles that align with the organization’s strategic goals.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Conduct talent acquisition analytics and business intelligence, leveraging data from LinkedIn and other platforms in collaboration with the People Insights Specialist.
  • Sourcing Channels: Utilize sourcing agencies and platforms such as LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Rising Star, SAGEA, and Universum to attract young talent and enhance recruitment efforts.
  • Recruitment Strategy Meetings: Organize and lead strategy meetings with senior management to discuss recruitment methodologies and ensure the selection of the most qualified candidates.
  • Pipeline Management: Work closely with People and Talent Managers to fill vacancies with candidates from internal and external pipelines.
  • Full Life-Cycle Recruiting: Support the entire recruiting process for assigned roles, ensuring compliance with Employment Equity targets as per BBBEE plans.
  • Technology Management: Oversee the use of talent acquisition technologies and digital platforms to streamline recruitment processes.
  • Talent Research: Contribute to the development of talent research capabilities and expertise, utilizing various channels for sourcing candidates.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Maintain and utilize the applicant tracking system, track key metrics, and report on the effectiveness of recruitment programs to drive continuous improvement.
  • Candidate Screening: Conduct screening interviews and lead the hiring manager satisfaction process to refine sourcing strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Key Attributes: Proven success in relationship building, stakeholder management, and talent analytics. Deep expertise in converting highly skilled candidates into employees and negotiating contracts.
  • Experience:
    • Tertiary qualification in humanities or a related field is advantageous.
    • Minimum of 5 years in talent acquisition and mapping, with at least 3 years in a corporate environment (preferably FMCG).
    • Extensive experience in full life-cycle executive recruitment and managing senior stakeholders.
    • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems, social media platforms, and search engines.
