SAB Vacancies – T2 Distribution Planner
SAB is seeking a T2 Distribution Planner to execute effective daily routes for Distribution Centres (DCs) using advanced routing tools. The T2 Distribution Planner is responsible for achieving distribution KPI targets while ensuring excellent customer service and productivity for their assigned DC. This role involves daily interaction with distribution teams to ensure smooth operations.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Route Planning and Optimization
- Utilize planning systems to create daily distribution load plans according to KPI targets.
- Set up and maintain inter-related system platforms, including SAP, WinRoute, and SharePoint.
- Optimize WinRoute planning database settings and maintain governance for all Master Data.
- Maintain the WinRoute road-network database, ensuring correct speeds based on map data.
- Distribution Management
- Plan and manage daily distribution load plans to maximize volume capacities.
- Execute load plans for multiple depots within prescribed time frames, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- Provide constructive feedback on load plan execution to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Engage daily with on-site Expeditors to ensure successful load plan execution.
- Communicate with DC teams regarding planning instructions and distribution-related matters.
- Clear and maintain SAP T2 platforms, ensuring proper system operation.
- Project Work and Process Improvement
- Drive core project work, focusing on LCP (Lean Capability Planning) improvement and implementation.
- Participate in additional projects to support the distribution team’s goals and objectives.
