Description
PEP is embarking on a major transformation project to replace our legacy core merchandise management system. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Systems Analyst to join our Enterprise Solutions Team within the Business Solutions function. Reporting to the Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in planning, analyzing, and implementing our new core merchandise management system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of existing merchandise management processes and systems.
  • Requirements Gathering: Identify system requirements and document specifications.
  • System Design: Contribute to the design of system and data architecture, as well as workflows, to meet business needs.
  • Implementation: Oversee the implementation of the new core merchandise management system.
  • Integration: Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Testing and Validation: Perform system testing and validation to ensure functionality and performance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and finance, to gather requirements and ensure alignment.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to the Product Owner and senior management.
  • Training: Develop user training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users.
  • Support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for system-related issues.

Requirements

  • Education: Tertiary qualification in IT, Commercial, Analytical, Mathematical, or Statistical subjects.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail, preferably in planning, merchandising, or supply chain.
  • Skills:
    • Passion for processes and systems optimization.
    • Proactive and self-starting with strong problem-solving skills.
    • Above-average computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office.
    • Experience with retail ERP systems and processes.
    • Familiarity with supply chain systems and processes.
    • Experience with data manipulation and analysis.
    • Programming experience.
    • Project management skills.
    • Experience with cloud-based solutions.
