Pick n Pay Careers – Supply Chain Planner
Join a company where people genuinely believe in what they do. Pick n Pay is looking for a Supply Chain Planner to optimize stock flow through the value chain in a cost-effective way, driving sales growth, availability, and efficiency while reducing waste and distribution costs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales plans, ensuring alignment with business strategies.
- Create accurate forecasts, incorporating promotions, seasonal trends, and historical data.
- Manage replenishment parameters and ensure accurate system forecasting.
- Execute new product and seasonal launches, ensuring store-specific nuances are considered.
- Monitor KPIs such as sales, waste, and working capital, adjusting plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with commercial teams, logistics, vendors, and store execution teams.
- Analyze category profitability and identify opportunities to improve margins.
- Ensure effective stakeholder communication and maintain positive working relationships.
Qualifications and Skills
- BCom in Logistics, Quantitative Analytics, Operational Research, Industrial Engineering, or Applied Mathematics.
- SQL, Power BI, and Access knowledge is advantageous.
- At least one year of experience in Retail, Supply Chain, or Planning.
