As a Supervisor at Tekkie Town, you will support the Store Manager in driving sales, managing stock, and controlling expenses to maximize profitability. Qualifications:
- Matric or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of retail experience as a Shop Assistant.
- Computer literate.
- Strong communication skills.
- Further qualifications in retail/business would be an advantage.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Excellent customer care skills with the ability to engage and interact with customers.
- Proficiency in till operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- A high standard of work on the sales floor, with dedication to maintaining quality and housekeeping standards.
- Initiative to complete tasks and maintain high attendance and punctuality records.
- Willingness to consistently apply company values, policies, and procedures.
- Strong understanding of company visual merchandising strategy, stock intensity, and SKU availability.
- Excellent planning, delegation, and leadership skills.
- Personal integrity and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
- Willingness to work retail trading hours.
- Understanding of the receiving process and the ability to maintain stockroom layout and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager in achieving sales budgets to maximize profits.
- Support merchandise management and stock loss prevention.
- Provide financial assistance and execute related tasks.
- Assist in store administration and management.
- Ensure adherence to stock policies and human resource assistance.
