Job Description:
Buco is seeking a skilled Supervisor: Logistics to oversee and manage the inward logistics functions, including stock control, receiving, and replenishment. The ideal candidate will ensure that these operations are carried out efficiently and accurately, contributing to the smooth running of the logistics department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Logistics Operations: Supervise and manage the stock control, receiving, and replenishment functions to ensure they are executed efficiently.
- Daily Action Compilation: Accurately and promptly compile and complete daily action reports.
- Staff Supervision: Monitor staff working hours and immediately report any incidents of absenteeism, poor timekeeping, or misconduct to the Manager.
- Maintain Orderliness: Ensure all sections are kept orderly, neat, and tidy at all times.
- Stock Transportation: Oversee the transportation of stock between loading, off-loading, and storage areas.
Requirements:
- Education: Grade 12
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years in a similar supervisory position.
- Minimum of 2 years in the general building materials environment.
- Supervisory Skills: Proven supervisory experience in logistics or related functions.
