Job Description:

Buco is seeking a Supervisor: Despatch for our Port Elizabeth location. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating customer deliveries, maintaining effective administrative functions, and leading a team to meet store objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Deliveries: Efficiently coordinate and manage customer deliveries.
• Administration: Maintain accurate and effective administrative functions to support operations.
• Team Leadership: Inspire, motivate, guide, develop, and manage the despatch team to achieve store objectives.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and legal requirements, taking appropriate actions on legal matters.
• Equipment Management: Check forklifts and other equipment daily to ensure operational readiness.
• Staff Management: Monitor and manage staff attendance, maintain rosters for weekends and public holidays.
• Customer Service: Ensure all customers entering the yard are attended to promptly.
• Stock Control: Maintain and manage stock effectively, including physically checking stock and delivery vehicles before they leave the yard.
• Reporting: Report any discrepancies or issues to management immediately.

Requirements:

• Education: Grade 12
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role
• Qualification: Technical qualification or Diploma preferred
• Skills: Basic computer skills and knowledge of relevant systems
