Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Growth:
Drive sales by delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining world-class store standards, including the store’s appearance, stock management, and promotional execution. - Stock Loss Prevention:
Create a positive store culture by implementing security measures, as well as cash and stock handling procedures to minimize losses. - Cost Management:
Ensure efficient store operations by aligning with the company’s low-cost culture and driving cost-saving measures. - Administrative Oversight:
Ensure all administrative duties are performed in compliance with company guidelines. - Team Leadership:
Lead and inspire a team, ensuring they are well-trained, coached, and performing at their best. - Standards Maintenance:
Uphold health, safety, and housekeeping standards within the store to maintain a professional and clean environment.
Job Requirements:
- Education:
- Grade 12 is essential.
- A relevant tertiary qualification (degree/diploma in business or retail management) is an advantage.
- Experience:
1-2 years of experience in a retail environment, preferably in a leadership role. - Skills & Competencies:
- Computer literacy (MS Office, Google Suite).
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to plan, organize, lead, and control.
- A passion for retail and delivering a world-class customer experience.
- Integrity, initiative, and a willingness to go the extra mile.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work retail hours.
