Purpose of the Position:
Lead a dynamic store team to achieve business KPIs, including driving sales, cost control, mitigating risks, minimizing stock loss, managing administration, and ensuring world-class store standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Sales: Enhance customer service, maintain store image, manage stock, and implement promotions to boost sales.
- Stock Loss Prevention: Foster a healthy store culture by adhering to security measures, stock, and cash-handling procedures.
- Cost Management: Align store operations with the company’s low-cost culture through efficiency.
- Administration: Ensure all administrative tasks comply with company guidelines.
- Team Leadership: Train, coach, and manage team performance to achieve business objectives.
- Standards Maintenance: Uphold general health, safety, and housekeeping standards within the store.
Job Requirements:
- Grade 12 qualification.
- Proficiency in English.
- Relevant tertiary education (degree/diploma in a business or retail-related field) is advantageous.
- 1-2 years of experience in a retail leadership role.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office or Google GSuite preferred).
