As a Store Manager at Tekkie Town, you will oversee the daily operations of the store, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently. Qualifications
- Grade 12 (Matric)
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- 1-2 years of management experience in a similar retail environment
- Strong computer literacy
- Ability to work well under pressure and show resilience
- Team player with excellent leadership and staff management skills
- Strong communication and business acumen
- Attention to detail and accuracy in tasks
- Effective time management
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving capabilities
- Customer service-oriented with a focus on relationship building

Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, supervise, and appraise staff
- Oversee daily staff management and development
- Manage budgets, including P&L and payroll
- Maintain statistical and financial records through daily, weekly, and monthly administration
- Handle customer queries and resolve complaints
- Maximize profitability by setting and meeting sales targets, motivating staff to achieve them
- Manage visual merchandising and store housekeeping
- Oversee inventory and stock management
- Ensure all store equipment is secured and accounted for
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for both customers and staff
- Understand and track store sales targets (daily/weekly/monthly)
- Develop and implement a store-specific action plan to minimize stock loss
