Spar Vacancies – Store Manager

Spar is looking for a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to oversee and optimize store operations. The successful candidate will ensure that all staff uphold the store culture, provide excellent customer service, and drive financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage sales targets and profitability across all departments.
• Oversee stock management, including ordering and inventory control.
• Ensure accurate pricing and maintain point-of-sale systems.
• Plan and execute in-store promotions.
• Maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards.
• Lead and manage staff, ensuring performance and adherence to company policies.
• Handle customer interactions and resolve queries effectively.
• Open and close the store as per operational requirements.
• Liaise with distribution center staff to ensure efficient stock replenishment.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric or NQF Level 4 equivalent.
• At least 10 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in computer applications related to retail management.
• Experience in Industrial Relations and staff management.
