Sea Harvest vacancies – STORE MANAGER
Sea Harvest is seeking a Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Fish Shop in Secunda. This is a 6-month contract opportunity for an individual with strong leadership skills and retail experience.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure full compliance with all aspects of store operations.
- Minimize risk across all departments.
- Lead and supervise store staff, ensuring high performance.
- Monitor key performance indicators and provide regular updates to the Area Manager.
- Manage cash handling and general administration.
- Oversee stock management and inventory control.
- Drive sales to meet budgeted targets.
- Implement new strategies and initiatives effectively.
- Maintain ongoing reporting on key performance areas.
- Promote and enhance the Sea Harvest brand.
- Optimize store operations and evaluate store layout for efficiency.
- Ensure correct utilization of IT systems.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 qualification.
- A tertiary qualification in Retail or Business Management is advantageous.
- Strong process and product knowledge.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Proactive and customer service-oriented.
- Self-motivated with strong leadership skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Team player with the ability to drive performance.
